Preliminary Property Tax Levies
Local governments have proposed an overall increase of 2 percent for 2014 property tax levies. The preliminary levy increases represent modest revenue growth, especially in light of the slower-than-anticipated recovery from the recession.

Cities Receive Favorable Driver’s License Data Ruling
Cities received good news recently when a federal district court judge dismissed claims that several cities and counties had improperly accessed driver’s license information.
