Notes on City Names
- There is a Rushford and a Rushford Village, both cities.
- There is a St. Anthony and a St. Anthony Village, both cities.
- Prior to the consolidation of Virginia and Franklin, there were two cities named Franklin. Franklin in Renville County is still a city.
- There are 37 cities that are split between 2 or 3 counties. The most recent of these joint municipalities are La Crescent (1996), Minnesota Lake (1996) and Blooming Prairie (1991).
